UNICEF ENTRUSTS MANHATTAN INFORMATION SYSTEMS TO SUPPORT ITS WORLDWIDE TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS

NEW YORK – April 02, 2010 – Manhattan Information Systems, Inc. (MIS) today announced that it has been selected by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to fulfill the organization’s worldwide technology needs. The three-year agreement, valued at US$10 million annually, allows MIS to procure, configure, install and maintain the IT hardware and software solutions that UNICEF relies on to support at-risk children across the globe. The contract also includes a two-year renewal option.

“Clearly our new agreement with UNICEF is significant to us from a business standpoint, but it’s particularly appealing because it enables us to indirectly touch the lives of so many children around the world,” said MIS President Anthony Candido. “Through our strategic partnerships with some of the IT industry’s leading manufacturers and publishers, we worked to provision special discounts that help maximize UNICEF’s return on its technology investment. We’re proud to be involved with such an incredible operation and look forward to helping it further its mission and reputation.”
